Review by A. Orcan: XXClone worked like magic in my case. My system drive (cloned) crashed, but backup (clone) drive worked just as if it was my original system drive. XXClone works as if you have a dual boot system, with a menu appearing just before Windows log-in page, giving a choice to select the cloned or clone volume. After a calamity, one can use the clone to create the original system drive. The only problem appeared when I tried to try a similar software. I had to uninstall XXClone, but dual boot still functioned. I will probably have to install XXClone and try to change my OS to its original form again. (5/5 - 2-May-2008)

Review by Michael: Downloaded the Freeware version before appraising for a group of 2000 plus consultants to review the payware SyncbackSE. I was particularly interested in the synchronisiation feature so that our base data could be mirrored on our laptops. I tested the Freeware with four large folders between 2.5g and 15g each using an external drive with 400g capacity. The first action was OK but then every time I did a run it replicated the whole folder on the external drive - 15g each time! I asked SyncBack for their help but this was denied as it was a Freeware copy. I then used the Add/remove MS programme tool to remove Syncback but it still kept the 2.95m logo file on the desktop. Using MS search I deleted all files but I am unable to delete the log... (2/5 - 13-Dec-2007)
Review by SyncBack Freeware User: I've used SyncBack for a year and a half and it's never given me a moments trouble. It's by far the best freeware backup program I've ever used. Actually, you'll be hard pushed to find a better freeware program, period. I've always found their forums very well supported, and they've an excellent online support area. (5/5 - 20-Jul-2005)
Review by Not an angry man: The hundreds of thousands of people who downloaded it and are using it without any problem must all be wrong, and Simon Smith so right. Perhaps Simon should have tried posting a sensible message to the forums instead of a nonsensical rant about how he wasn't even going to use it anyway. Perhaps he could even have submitted a support ticket? Perhaps he could even have read the message right before his asking for help on exactly the same problem? Of course not, Simon isn't a sensible Simon. (5/5 - 20-Jul-2005)
Review by simon smith: Couldn't get this software to work. Registered with their forum for support. Posted the fact that the software wouldn't work along with the error message I was getting and guess what- do you think I got a helpful reply? No!! They just removed my post from the forum! This tells you what kind of company they are. Don't waste your time with this- It DOESN'T WORK! (1/5 - 20-Jul-2005)
